Question 1 of 8
@loyal_voter, 2hFunny how you’re outraged about the city paying triple for park benches, but you said nothing when the LAST council bought those marble fountains. Selective much?
Reply to a post asking who approved the bench contract.
The question about the benches never gets an answer. It gets a different scandal instead. Both could be true; only one was the topic.

Question 2 of 8
@safe_streets_now, 5hEither you support the new surveillance law, or you’re fine with criminals owning our streets. There is no third option. Which side are you on?
Two options are presented as the only ones. In reality there are many: a narrower law, more police, better lighting, oversight. The fear is the fuel; the false choice is the trick.

Question 3 of 8
@truth_cam_live, 41m[video: a street with burning cars] THIS is downtown RIGHT NOW. Share before they delete it!!
A reverse image search finds the same clip from 2019, filmed in another country.
The footage is real, but the caption is not. Old or foreign video with a new “right now” label is the most common visual trick on the feed, and the easiest to check.

Question 4 of 8
@just_curious_42, 1dNot saying anything happened. Just asking: why did the minister’s plane land 40 minutes before the warehouse fire? Why is NOBODY talking about this?
A claim (the minister is involved) is smuggled in as a question so nobody has to defend it. Real questions want answers; this one wants suspicion.

Question 5 of 8
Daily Takes, 3hHot take: cyclists should pay a road tax FOUR times higher than drivers. Fight me.
The page posts around 30 “hot takes” a day, on every topic imaginable.
The post exists to make you angry enough to reply. Every furious comment is free reach for the page; the opinion itself is beside the point.

Question 6 of 8
ZenSleep Store, SponsoredOnly 3 left at this price! Offer ends in 09:59, don’t miss out, 214 people are looking at this right now.
Reload the page: the timer starts again at 10:00 and there are still exactly 3 left.
Manufactured urgency: a countdown that resets, a stock number that never changes, a crowd that is not there. It is a dark pattern too, but this specific one is fake scarcity.

Question 7 of 8
@wisdom_daily, 6h[image: a famous physicist’s face] “The internet will be the end of thinking.” Share if you agree!
No speech, book or interview contains the sentence. The physicist died decades before the web existed.
A face and a name lend authority to words the person never said. Search the exact sentence in quotation marks: real quotes have a source.

Question 8 of 8
@awake_not_woke, 12hEvery outlet lies. Every politician lies. Every “fact-checker” is bought. You can’t know anything, so stop pretending you can. Just stop caring.
The goal is not to convince you of something, but of nothing. If everything is a lie, nothing can be checked and nobody acts, which suits whoever lies the most.
